Uncounted steps

Yesterday...!!
Rolling down the lane
I walk far far away
Drizzling on the same
No rain jacket
I just watch water dripping down
And drooling down in drains

Frozen feet
As I stood still - seeing people counting their steps
While passing just where I stood straight
Something that never did i really know
Were steps now, cover with fresh fallen snow
That's for a while - I thought of you
And the growing distance - Was all that I knew

Realized...!!
I never counted the steps
How many were yours and how many were mine
For me nothing really mattered
As long as we were together
Forever you were to be mine
And our life was to supposedly stay fine.

Until Now....!!
Rubbing those fallen snow
Wanting to count every step - once taken
For the relation that is now broken
Everything by now has fallen apart
A heart from the heart
Years of steps taken - has fallen short

I hope you remember
About the date
We talked about this summer
Just you and me - out sometime somewhere
In this mid of December

In cold freezing weather
Just you and me
We will hold each other
For a while
We’ll forget the world
And be in arms together


Free falling
For once in life time
Into each other’s feeling
Forever will then this heart get occupied
Just to keep you loving

Nothing will then make me feel better
No luxury - No eternity
Just having you in my life is all that would matter
I will then fulfill my desire
Of writing down my feels to you in hundred of letter

But for now
I just hope you remember
